Minibridge is played by four players, two against two
with your partner sat opposite you at all times

All 52 cards are used. Each player receives
13 cards

Like Whist, the main objective in Minibridge
is to win TRICKS

A TRICK is
the result of each player having played one card in turn. The highest
card played wins that trick for the pair to whom the card belonged with
ACE as the highest card in each
suit
Pictured above is a layout of tricks as taken and left face down on the
table facing one way for tricks won and the opposite way for tricks
lost.

With 13 cards each and one card played by each
player per trick, there are therefore 13 tricks available
to be won in the play

A specific Trick
Target is set to each pair at the table according to the
number of “High Card Points” they hold
